Fulton Grove Transit Oriented Development - Parker Lands Redevelopment

Winnipeg, Manitoba

 

Overview:

The development of a TOD community on vacant, obsolete industrial land adjacent to an emerging rapid transit corridor.

Challenges:

Fulton Grove planning and development has largely been touted as the most critical piece in the Winnipeg Rapid Transit Corridor development. The site is a Major Redevelopment Site in Our Winnipeg, the City Development Plan. A key requirement to the process has been the demonstration that a dense, walkable neighbourhood linked by rapid transit is a viable option for Winnipeg.
